Mr. Manusha Ranawaka,  CEO of Senima Investing, began his journey into stock market investing during the 2009–2010 period. Through disciplined, long-term investing, he built a substantial portfolio and achieved financial freedom at a young age. In 2017, driven by a passion to educate and uplift others, he began teaching stock market investing to the public. In 2019, he expanded his mission by launching the Senima Investing YouTube channel and founding the Senima School stock market education programs. These platforms have since empowered thousands of Sri Lankans with practical financial literacy and investment skills.

Today, Senima Investing is recognized as Sri Lanka’s first private stock market course provider. As of 2025, it has a student base exceeding 5,000 individuals and a combined social media following of over 150,000 across various platforms. Many of Mr. Ranawaka’s early students have already achieved financial freedom through stock market investing, transforming their lives and becoming full-time investors. Remarkably, some of today’s most well-known names in the field of investing and financial education in Sri Lanka were once his students— proof of his lasting impact on the country’s financial landscape.

Mr. Ranawaka holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance (Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. He was also a merit scholarship holder in the Sri Lankan Advanced Level examinations.  Prior to founding Senima Investing, he worked in the private sector in senior leadership positions, including as Chief Risk Officer for several major business conglomerates. He also served as an external auditor, auditing the financials of both private and public companies. His deep expertise in financial reporting, accounting standards, risk management, and group consolidations provides the foundation for his educational approach. Alongside his teaching career, Mr. Ranawaka maintains a significant investment portfolio in the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), owns real estate assets, and is a recognized grandmaster in cryptocurrency trading and investing.

At a young age, he saw the need for a more financially literate and investor-driven society in Sri Lanka. In response, he committed to a bold vision: to create 1 million investors in Sri Lanka and help “Make Sri Lanka Great Again.” Today, that vision continues to gain momentum through his leadership, mentorship, and impact.
